I am having a negative student teaching experience! Help!?

I've been student teaching for six weeks and I'm having a horrible experience.I haven't really had a chance to teach anything because my master teacher is very controlling of the classroom.I never have a chance to meet with her to discuss plans for the week because she's so busy. She seems aggravated or annoyed when I ask her questions.Yet she keeps saying she's there if I need anything.I asked her what her last student teacher did and she said she basically did her own thing.I have no problem with that. But,this master teacher is so disorganized that there is absolutely no consistency in her classroom. She told me that I won't pass until I show her what I can do.But,I never have a chance. My supervisor spoke with her about planning with me and she said she didn't look too happy about it.So,it's been a week now and things are not better. My supervisor wants to move me to another assignment. Will it look bad if I move in the middle of student teaching once I apply for a job? What would you do?

I am having a negative student teaching experience! Help!?
I know nothing of student teaching, so it's difficult for me to see into details of the situation (such as how student teaching is critiqued), but I think you should consider moving on.

Your devotion to a collaborative environment would best be kept as a strength rather than recorded inaccurately as a weakness. It sounds like your master teacher needs a student teacher with different qualities.

I hope it would even reflect positively on you (especially given the important role educators have) that you possess a strong enough initiative to make a move like that in the interest of, exactly, showing what you can do.
Reply:It may look bad but you are able to explain your circumstances. Have you tried confronting you master teacher about your concerns by siting down with her and telling her that you would like a chance and feel she is not giving it to you?

If that does not work and or you have already tried that I would not keep putting myself in a situation that was going to make me unhappy and most of all take away from my learning experiences by not having an opportunity to teach. I would switch and seek someone else who is more willing to give you a chance
Reply:You need to remain professional, but become a little less courteous! I think you should step up and show her that you are capable of controlling your environment and perform as a professional, regardless of how screwed up she is. I would also consider moving to another assignment. Some people are just unbearable, and I think any employer would consider you situation with compassion. You can not control the teacher, but if you are allowing her to control you, your abilities as a teacher will not be seen. Consider moving. I am currently in a student teaching program.
