Is there any individual or agency which helps student publications especially in terms of finances?

I'm an editor of a campus publication that aims to protect the rights and welfare of our fellow students through means that our disposition as student writers allows. So, inevitably we had to do investigations on the undertakings of our school administrators, do critical analysis and make our fellow students know of those undertakings because we believe that they deserve to be informed. As far as we are concerned, we do our job as objectively as we can but not compromising the truth and the substance of the information that we are bringing to our fellow students. Our problem is that, the students council, (by the way, our paper is the official publication of the student council) is being run by pro-school administration "student leaders". They refuse to release our funds because our paper contains news and articles condemning and criticizing the repressive policies and actions of the administration. Any information that would help us overcome this problem is much appreciated. Thanks..

You are suggesting truth at the university level..........they will crush and destroy you. Vote Conservative and future generations will be free.
