Using Student Loan to Pay for credit card debt?

Im currently a student and rely on private bank student loans to pay for my education. I recently took out more than needed to pay for credit card debt worth 6000.00. I hear about other students doing the same but i was wondering how one would get caught doing this? im worried that the IRS will garnish my wages if they find out what i did. has anyone ever been caught doing this or know someone who has been caught? if so what happened and how do they find out it is being done. please help

Reply:It's so okay. All the stuff you charged is "part of your living expenses." The lady at the bank I got my loan from says you can absolutely spend student loans on credit cards.
