College student Europe tours?

Are there any good student tours of Europe? I want to take a trip to Europe with my friends for next summer. Not just a small 9 day one. At least two weeks--preferably a month. My mom keeps telling me about the college student tour she went on for like two months. Apparently it was with a big group of students and they traveled everywhere. Does anyone know of any tours like that? Your thoughts?

College student Europe tours?
Ya. Its called EF College Break. Take a look at them, its an 18-26 thing, and they have various lengths of trips. I know there is 'the grand tour' and 'ultimate europe' that are 30 and 35 days. I just booked a trip with them, and i still have the discount code i used its hesseln1188 and it saves you $50 if you want to use them. They are the cheapest thing I've found, and I really liked them. (I went to france, spain and italy, and im going to greece this summer!) Have fun in europe! And you can contact me if you have any questions about my trip. :)
Reply:Ya- Tech2009 now saves ya up to $150.. EFCollegeBreak is great!.. I just booked another trip with them! Report It

Reply:See, if you planning to stay over a month in europe visiting different places, its gonna be expensive... dunno abt your budget, but its better you get that in place.. try to get the best deals.... wherever possible as you will see the dollars vanishing fast in front of euros...atleast i did.... try www.hosteltraveler.com for some cool deals, and plan out your trip at affordable budget.

Try youth hostels, best to move around, make frnds, and one gets handy tips from fellow travelers... me and my frnds did the same while hopping through countries in Europe...

Have a good time....
Reply:I travelled on my own, made my own schedule, saw what I wanted to see. I would never do one of those tours, because I feel limited by them. On the other hand, you are very safe on those, and someone always knows where you are supposed to be, and if you are not there, they will find you.

Check with your professors, and tour companies. We get catalogs from companies like EF, and Perillo tours regularly...search them online, get the information you want from them and then make contact if you want. If you get a group of people together for EF, for example, you can get your tour paid for, or you can split the difference with your friends, and everyone shares the discount.

Do an online search...just plug in you title question, and you should get started in the right direction.
Reply:Check out Contiki tours. They are the best for 18 to 30 yr olds. A bit fast paced ie most tours are only 2 days in major European cities but you can see lot in 15 - 28 day tours. And best of all with young open minded out going people just like you.
Reply:You should really talk to your university's study abroad office. Different universities may provide different options for students. Of course, you can always apply to non-affiliated programs.

You may be interested in Semester at Sea, if you want to go to many places. I think it's the best opportunity for that kind of travel. You say you want to go next summer... 2009? That would be perfect.

They have not yet posted the tentative summer 2009 destination list, but here is the website:

I know people who have done it, and they absolutely love the experience. For the summer, they usually do an area focus (because there is not enough time to go around the globe, which they do in the fall and spring semesters).

For their summer programs, they have done:

-Asia (typical destinations: Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand, India, Taiwan...)

-Latin America (typical destinations: Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico)

-Europe (Typical destinations: Croatia, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, France...)
