I'm doing my graduation project for my school on a program that I'm involved in where Latino high school students teach middle school Latino history. It's called R.O.M.P.E, (Rompiendo Obstaculos Mientras Practicamos Espanol, which means breaking obstacles while practicing Spanish). What we do is we talk to them only in Spanish and teach them grammar and Latino history so that they are prepared to take Native Spanish when they get to high school. By doing so, we improve their self-esteem and confidence, there's more to the program but, basically what i need is Latino student history, because I'm comparing the effects of the program. So, does anybody know some good, useful sights where I can find Latino student history in the United States? Thanks in advance!
