Student credit cards?
you are too young to be falling in this credit crap....i worked for a card company and trust me dont get a student credit card, they will rip you off. just spend whatever u make.

as long as u don't have bad credit....u can get your credit score to 700+ in less then a year.
Reply:I would suggest the American Express card it's my current favorite credit card.

Reply:Go with American Express man. They give you good benefits and your credit goes better aswell. I have it and man am i happy.
Reply:Its not good to cancel cards because it looks bad on your credit just dont use it. and the bad thing about amex is that alot of companies dont take it.
Reply:While you have good payment history, pay off your credit card , then look for a new card. There is no need for you to have 2 cards, no matter how they are pushed on campus. One card for emergencies and keeping a good debt to income ratio will keep you in good standing for when a real purchase need arises, like a house.
Reply:most cards are similar. you didn't say what your concerns with capitol one were so hard to say if you should get anouther card at all becuase they may all do the things that annoyed you with capitol one. I,ve heard bad things about all of them over time.

reguardless why would you need more than one card. im thinking an atm card is all you really need but if your loooking to raise your credit score a card is a good way as long as you always pay at least your minimum payment.

....Lets
Reply:Canceling a card will show as canceled by consumer, which will not hurt your credit. Paying positive on your car will have a more positive effect on your credit than anything.

Keep your credit under control, don't overspend and you should be fine. I prefer a visa or mc, they are accepted by more places, but that is just my opinion.
