Student Loans?

I'm a rising junior with no scholarship money anymore, and my savings are completely drained. I've been looking at student loans, but I just started a new job and have no credit right now, so i need a so-signer on my loans. My parents have already said they won't co-sign for me, and I don't have anyone else to ask.

Does anyone know of any student loans for around $6000 that I would be eligible for without a co-signer?

Student Loans?
student loans through a bank and private loans and often require a cosigner and have higher interest rates,

student loans through the US Dept of Ed are loans you get from FAFSA. No cosigner and lower rates.

even though your parents income i high, FAFSA will still offer you unsubsidized stafford loans. Subsidized loans are loans offered to you on an "as need" basis. unsubsidized loans are what else you need.

you will have an extreme difficult time getting considered an independant. you have to be married, have a child or be over the age of 25. Not living with, not speaking to or not getting help from your parents are not eligible reasons (i know, that sucks!)

wait for your fafsa. see what theyoffer you.
Reply:Talk to your college Registrar. They can answer quickly and I do not believe you have to have a co signer for a student loan, especially if you have not had one and are in your Junior year. Maybe you need to take a quick look at your grades, your ability to manage what money has come in and see if you need to go further in debt., Could be you need to find another life path.
Reply:YOU SHOULD CHECK WITH SALLIE MAE. THERE IS NO CO-BORROWER REQUIRED.
Reply:Fill out the FAFSA as an independent student and get financial aid. Also, check into companies that will pay for you to attend college or tuition reimbursement for at least your major classes.

Reply:It might be possible for this You will have to meet executives of different banks %26amp; institutions %26amp; have to confirm which one is providing loans without co-signer.

U can visit this site

%26amp; fill forms with different banks or institutions %26amp; call their executives %26amp; Then U will definitely get a loan without a co-signer .

I wish U good luck for your studies.
Reply:Are you attending an American University? There will be available to you through the financial aid office government backed loans. Under no circumstances, DO NOT, I repeat, DO Not take out educational loans through a private lender! You will be facing an variable interest rate that can be upwards of 20%! The loan agreement will be binding and have more fees than a credit card. Right now there is legislation to prevent predatory practices by private lending institutions. This website: indenturedstudent.com will be useful in the future for paying off your loans (its currently in development). Do not use Sallie Mae they are one of the worst predatory lending institutions in history.

Now, assuming you are at a American University all you have to do is fill out an online form called the FASFA, the financial aid office will help you with this. The money (loans) is guaranteed to be available once you complete the application process. Also, it will have favorable repayment terms that are more realistic and flexible when compared to private lenders. Also, the interest rate for these is not variable.
