hi everybody


this year at my school we are starting a student govenment, and i am thinking about running for chair, vice chair, or secretary for the environment section of the thing.the only thing is, i need some ideas for it (we would do 1 thing each term) anybody have any creative ideas? on a pretty low budget?








(some things we could do is plant trees, littlerless lunch day,beautifuying the school)


P.S: there is a big park and field area beside the school that has alot of garbage,


but i watn more creative ideas on a lowish budget


any ideas anybody?





oh and i am also going to run for vice president, anybody got any ideas there?

mock a presidential candidate wear the hat with your own name on it and play some upbeat music and make it fun -funny
Reply:here are some things you could suggest:





recycle bins in class rooms... make it into a competition, the room that collects the most cans/bottles gets to pick what to do with the money earned or they get a pizza party or something





bake sales or marathan runs like "run for the rainforest" where students find sponsors and you raise money to buy an ancre of forest





posters and announcements around the school about easy ways to save the environment like to turn off lights when leaving a room or using paper instead of plastic grocery bags





service projects (cleaning up the beach, park, or doing neighborhood recycling) that you can offer to students for service hours that can be used in csf or ncl.... i'm not sure if you have thoose charity clubs





when talking forcouse on thoose ideas and you will be fine
Reply:Anything materialistic you can afford to give away people will like. It is pr oven, people like getting free stuff... So find something you can afford, Soda Pop, Pencils, Shirts, and slap your name on it and GIVE EM away.
