About private student loans?

How much can I borrow on a private student loan a year?

Can I use the money to live off campus?

Can I be a part time student to get a private student loan or do I have to be a full time student?

Reply:how much? = up to $40,000

living expenses? = yes, private loans are what is called direct to consumer which means that you decide what the money is used for, you are not beholden to your school or financial aid office.

part time? = yes, as long as it if at least half time you should be all set.

The best thing to do is compare the different private lenders out there, which can be done at http://www.finaid.org/loans/privatestude...

Most of the rates are very similar but do a little research and pick one that you think is best. I would suggest Think Financial. The application process is very quick and easy, and the check is sent directly to you so you can use the money for whatever you want. You can find out more information about a Think loan at http://www.thinkfinancial.com . Good Luck.
